NOAH 2015 to be fueled by Rocket Internet’s CATERWINGS

Oliver Samwer, CEO and founder of Rocket Internet, will today be attending the NOAH Conference 2015, as it kicks off in London. A long list of Rocket Internet startups will take part in the two-day conference, including CATERWINGS, which will be catering at the event.

CATERWINGS, the catering service that launched in London in September 2015, is set to provide the attendees at the NOAH Conference 2015 with gourmet food. The startup will be responsible for supplying food for the speaker's lounge and several meeting rooms, while company partner Noura will take care of the remaining areas.

“It is a big step for CATERWINGS to fuel so many great CEOs and leaders like Gary Lin and Jan Miczalka,” said Alexander Brunst, co-founder and managing director. "We take pride in our service and are looking forward to providing an excellent cuisine to everyone attending. We are the rocket fuel that will make the conference a big success."

Rocket Internet launched CATERWINGS as the next-generation marketplace linking caterers with businesses. The company offers convenient, flexible and on-demand food deliveries and aims to provide gourmet food for meetings and other office-related happenings. In addition, it seeks to serve food at parties and events outside of work. Only a small commission is charged by CATERWINGS, with no additional expense for the customer.

Oliver Samwer, founder and CEO of Rocket Internet, will end the first day as a speaker on the main stage. Also speaking are C-level executives from companies such as Carmudi, Lamudi, Helpling and Somuchmore. Moreover, Romain Voog, CEO of Global Fashion Group, which is backed by Rocket Internet and Investment AB Kinnevik, will share insights from the fashion retail industry.

With more than 150 speeches and workshops taking place on three stages, NOAH is the most important conference for the digital economy in Europe, enabling over 1,300 CEOs, executives and investors to network, share insights and learn from each other.

CATERWINGS is an online marketplace which connects catering services to businesses. Founded in 2015 by Alexander Brunst and Sebastian Kloss, the company aims to provide convenient, flexible and on-demand food for business and team events. CATERWINGS currently operates in London and has partnered with independent catering services including Pollen and Grace, Dhaba Landa The Mac Factory and Hummus Bros. The company is backed by German startup incubator Rocket Internet.
